The Colorado River Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution was organized on September 23, 2000, to serve Compatriots living in Kingman, Bullhead City, Lake Havasu City, Parker, and Yuma, AZ.
Colorado River Chapter monthly meetings are held the second Saturday of each month except June through August at 11:00 a.m. Our meeting location is the Mohave County Library, 1770 McCulloch Boulevard North (K-Mart Plaza), Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403. All Compatriots (local or visiting), their spouses, prospective members and guests are invited to attend our monthly meetings.
Some of our meetings may have a speaker on a special topic; all meetings will have updates relating to business of the Chapter; however, the main point of our meetings is to gather and honor our Patriot ancestors, for without their courage and sacrifices there would be no United States of America, and therefore we will always have discussions of our Patriot ancestors' accomplishments.
Chapter activities include presentation of JROTC awards, participation with local DAR Chapters in London Bridge Days parade in Lake Havasu City, and Veterans' Day parade in Kingman.
