Saguaro Chapter


Meeting Time & Place


The Saguaro Chapter has served the communities of the western part of the Phoenix metropolitan area since 1965.   We serve the residents of Anthem, Glendale, Goodyear, Litchfield Park, Peoria, Sun City, Sun City West and Surprise.


Our Chapter meets at 8:30 a.m. on the fourth Saturday of each month except June, July, August, and September.   We meet for breakfast at the Golden Corral, 17674 N. Litchfield Road, Surprise, AZ 85374.   Call Chapter Secretary Jan Huber at (623) 975-4805 for information regarding our Chapter.


The Program for our April Meeting is:
"Fort Mifflin, Savior of George Washington and the Revolutionary Army"

At our March 2017 Saguaro Chapter Meeting we presented
our SAR Founding Document Brochure Contest Winners with their Awards.



The Saguaro Chapter’s community focus includes education outreach focused on the history of our nation,
SAR Color Guard participation in parades and celebrations,
recognition of ROTC/JROTC graduates,
Veteran recognition programs,
education and recognition of flag use,
Eagle Scout recognitions,
community activities.
